Denim Dam just released a brand new sonic experience 'Denim Dam 25TH Anniversary 1999-2024' and this sounds like a sonic treat! A celebration of 25 years of the band's sonic lifespan, this comprises a plethora of talented maestros who have come together to make this marvel. A collective that is aware of their aura and impact on the masses, they also provide their talented musicians with ample soulful solos in every track of the album, making their sound too surreal to be true. Without any further ado, let's dive right into this album and see what it's got to offer!
A groovy and awe-inspiring getaway into the artist's life, this poetic compilation covers all the aspects of life leaving no stones unturned.
A journey based on true events, this album is a playful and pacifying trip down memory lane. Decoding some of the tracks that we like the most, we first have the breakthrough track,' 3 AM(I Call You Up) is a dreamy symphony that is inspired by the gift of finding your comfort zone in a human being and having the faith that they are someone you can always run back to. This is soothing, full of warmth and carries a neon-rock appeal to it that will instantly fill the listener with gratitude. 'Don't Throw It Away' starts with a funky rock synth to it, and talks about how one is blessed with a power and simply lets their strengths go in vain from a minor inconvenience. A notion about staying positive and grateful inspires us to how humankind understands actions more than words.
Then we arrive at the bass-driven notions of 'The Moment', where the artist goes unhinged and vents his heart out, reflecting upon his past and the present, inspiring one to be in the moment and making the most out of it. Delving into more of classic rock, we arrive at the tracks 'It's Got to Be Love', 'We Are Who We Are' and 'Down By The River Bend Flow'. All of these tracks carry the magnetic charisma of classic rock with the artist's eclectic flair, sending a rush of adrenaline down the spine of listeners. 'Guess I'll Be Alright' describes the epic feeling of solitude in full bloom.
With the tracks 'Things Have Changed', 'No Lies In Blue Skies' and 'Where The Sun Goes Flow' we channel a soft-rock charm that is very bright, fresh, and very summery. Last but not least, the track that caught my eye was 'Go Where Life Leads You' instigating the masses to simply go with the flow on this unplanned journey of life. Motivating us not to think too much, this track is rejuvenating, inspiring and very full of life, with Denim adding his poetic touch to it. Overall, I believe this magnificently summarizes the artist's life experiences and is an experience one would want to revisit.
