The father-son duo is back with another energetic track. Transgalactica is a progressive rock and metal band led by a father and son from Poland. The duo is known for composing energetic songs with a powerful impact. Their music is influenced by, and reminiscent of, the symphonic rock bands that Tomasz grew up with—mainly the Big Four: Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, and King Crimson. Drawing further inspiration from classical composers such as Bach, Bizet, Saint-Saens, Sibelius, Verdi, and Prokofiev, as well as from The Beatles, their work carries a distinct depth and weight.

A rare ballad drawn from philosophy, history, and music, “Liberal Anthem” fuses powerful messages with progressive soundscapes.

“Liberal Anthem” is the third song from their debut album, “Better Angels.” The track is a striking fusion of philosophical ideas and musicality inspired by a fragment of Steven Pinker’s book “Enlightenment Now.” The music creates the right balance of grit and grandeur with hard-rock tunes and pounding drums. The anti-populist passages come from the 16th-century Polish tune Hej żeglujże, żeglarzu, while the uplifting anthem section takes inspiration from Velvet Underground’s All Tomorrow’s Parties. Musically and lyrically this is a cross-cultural track.
