The Akademia Awards recipient Amanda Emblem and her band are back with another release. The Queensland-based singer, vocalist and guitarist formed a band named “The Amanda Emblem Experiment” to promote music through harmony. Consisting of Kelly King on flute, and harmonica, Billy Adams on drums, and Scott Astill on bass—with all four members also lending their voices—the band is one-of-a-kind, driven by versatility.

You flip the coin and the emotions turn, you listen to “Storm in My Life” and experience goosebumps.

Their new song, “Storm in My Life,” is part of their upcoming album, “The Wood.” It touches on a fragile yet significant topic of a relationship. The ups and downs, the highs and lows of newfound love, are compared to a wild storm. The emotional tone, musical texture and lyrical themes of the blues/folk song perfectly portrays the two sides of love—joy and vulnerability. You will definitely relate to this track if you have ever fallen in love.
