Lucian Lacewing Builds a Cosmic Soundscape with ‘Freedom From Forever’

Lucian Lacewing is a wizard of tunes. He blends, bends, and crafts soundscapes where every sound matters and adds substance. Each note is placed with intent, and each sound is selected with passion and craftsmanship. His immensely experimental approach speaks in the language of musical honesty and deep relatability. His pieces prove that, when used well, synths and acoustics complement each other just like a winter night and a cosy bonfire.

“Lucian Lacewing’s music truly builds galaxies of its own. Hit play, and you will be transported to a spaceship in the middle of the vast cosmos.”

Firstly, I would like to appreciate the title of the song: ‘Freedom From Forever’. A name that carries so much meaning. Even before listening to the song, it makes you ponder deeply. The name beautifully holds the essence of the song. Not to mention, the instrumentals are like a slow drug. The composition builds slowly but is very intense. I personally loved the use of vocal chops and chants in the song. Lucian takes you on an ancient, mythical journey with rustic vocal samples and uniquely designed harps. The variations and progressions run smoothly from one to the other, each blending into the previous and the next.
