Jax Fleming has released his debut EP, “I’ll Be Fine.” Jax is an alt-indie rock singer-songwriter raised on the rural outskirts of Henderson, Kentucky. His idea of music is to build an artistry from a desire for “something more,” beyond the small-town routine. He stepped into the spotlight as the frontman of the band Atlas of the Dogs, playing major stages like the Ford Center and Victory Theatre before deciding to break away and create a sound that reflected his personal truth. Inspired to pursue music after watching a 30 Seconds to Mars live festival performance, Jax found clarity early on about his path and has carried that conviction into his solo identity. His debut EP “I’ll Be Fine” was crafted over a year and a half, with Jax writing every song alongside producer Wes Luttrel and performing nearly all the instruments like guitar, drums, piano, synth, bass, vocals, and percussion.

“With unfiltered emotion and multi-instrumental mastery, Jax Fleming emerges as one of indie rock’s most exciting new storytellers.”

The EP acts as a six-track diary, capturing two years of personal growth, loss, reinvention, and emotional honesty. “Superficial” opens the EP with themes of self-doubt, reinvention, and the tension between expectations and authenticity. The title track “I’ll Be Fine” blends fragility with strength, turning emotional lows into an affirmation of resilience. Built from a bare-bones chorus over acoustic guitar, it grows into a full arrangement with drums, electric guitars, and a cathartic release. “Macie” is a reflective and personal narrative moment in the EP. It complements the project’s diary-like nature, offering an intimate emotional snapshot shaped by the relationships and experiences of the last two years.

“3am” was written during Jax’s transition from band frontman to solitary artist, capturing late-night loneliness, anxiety, and the emotional crash of losing community and routine. “Twilight” continues the themes of change and uncertainty, exploring the emotional middle space between endings and transformations. This track adds ]atmospheric depth to the EP's emotional arc. “HiLo” serves as a thematic closer, representing the highs and lows that define Jax’s past two years. The track balances emotional intensity with introspective storytelling. As a whole, “I’ll Be Fine” delivers a cohesive and deeply personal coming-of-age narrative, shaped by self-reflection, emotional turbulence, and artistic rebirth.
