You cannot imagine how soothing it is before sleeping after a long and tiring day. It is perfectly suited for moments when the mind feels scattered and needs time to unwind. ‘Passanti’, an extension of the previous song’s vibe, gravitates towards feelings of coziness and beauty. ‘Panni Stessi’ is a journey of a song and eases your mind as it flows smoothly. While every track here takes a different turn into mystery as the album progresses, you feel like you’ve hit the snooze button on the never-ending flow of thoughts in your brain. ‘Monteverde’ gives me a similar sense of escapism. ‘Le credenza’ isn’t just a song but rather a state of mind, perhaps the sound of discerning and delayed, yet eventual, acceptance of the fact that you control your emotions and not the other way around. A track that stands out for its poised piano work is ‘Lobi’.
