The veteran frontman and well-known figure in the music industry has released an album that is very close to his heart. Surrounded by his Latin percussionist father, Frankie found his love for music at a very young age. Astonished by his father’s late-night sessions and inspired by music icons like David Lee Roth & Prince, Muriel picked up rock as a genre. Since then, he has been giving electrifying performances with bands like Broken Toyz, KINGOFTHEHILL, and Dr. Zhivegas. Finally, after delivering some of the most spectacular hits, he released his solo album, “I'm Still Standing,” to create a wave of his solo showmanship in the world of chords and mics.

“I'm Still Standing” is a powerful testament to Frankie Muriel’s resilience, relentlessness and life’s roller coaster rides.
The album, consisting of nine songs, showcases Frankie Muriel’s journey in the truest form possible. After living, losing and growing through numerous moments in his life, the artist is still standing still, and this album is a testament to that. The opening song is the title track of the album, and there can’t be a better start than this track, which showcases the hard-earned respect, fame, and achievements the singer has achieved in his life full of struggles. Moving on, “Those Were the Nights” gives us a sneak peak into the adult life of Frankie.
A choir-backed track that leads you into a mesmerized state with its soaring tune, explains the vulnerabilities of life. “Sweet Surrender” is that song for you on this album. With “If I Say,” Frankie takes it down the memory lane when he was at the peak with his band KINGOFTHEHILL. “Home” offers a very personal experience from the singer’s life. It’s a heartbreaking tribute to his mother, filled with soulful lyrics and hard-hitting tones. Meanwhile, “Let Her Down Easy” is a tender, emotionally raw cover of Terence Trent D’Arby’s classic. “Crazy” closes in as a love letter to fatherhood, wrapped in funky beats and joyful strings.
