Sonic Stories
Starting things off with an EDM album called ‘Ever Lasting’ by STRlighT, based in Dongguan, China, and released on 24 Sep 26.
If you want to experience the longing for your loved one amidst the rain, the warmth of love amidst the winter, and the wonder of a sunny afternoon, ‘Ever Lasting’ by STRlighT is an album made for you. You will get lost in the world of tracks like ‘The Rain That Had Been Falling Relentlessly’, ‘You Light Me Up’ and ‘Stargazers’ without even thinking about it. So, listen to this album and get lost in time.
“‘Ever Lasting’ is a mixed bag of emotions that stay with you forever.”
Next up is a Jazz release called ‘Is This You?’ by Carmelo Alfano, based in London, United Kingdom, and released on 01 Sep 26.
There’s a lovely sense of connection in ‘Is This You?’. Carmelo Alfano doesn’t seem interested in rushing the emotion, and that makes the song feel personal. I absolutely love the warmth that his voice carries. That makes the thoughtful lyricism even more special, while you embrace the jazzy tune it has to offer. Do give this one a spin and you’ll love it.
“This one feels like a quiet conversation with someone who understands your feelings.”
Third on the list is a Hip-Hop EP called ‘S.D.M & Love’ by Tyko, based in Chandler, United States, and released on 28 Sep 26.
An EP that feels like a burst of personalities and a mixed bag of emotions. Tyko’s ‘S.D.M & Love’ is a collection of songs that juggle between swagger, chaos, relationships and vulnerable moments, and that contrast makes it so dynamic sonically. It feels like you are experiencing different stages of the moon, where each one has a flavour of its own. You must hit that play button on this EP for sure!
“A little chaos, and a lot more contrast is what makes Tyko’s ‘S.D.M & Love’ engaging.”
Fourth comes a Rock release called ‘Seasons (To Be Human)’ by Steven Luke, based in Lancaster, England, and released on 01 Oct 26.
‘Seasons (To Be Human)’ has the kind of feeling that makes you think about your own life while listening. Steven Luke uses changing seasons to reflect love, loss, struggle, and resilience, and the classic rock influence gives it a wonderfully timeless touch. The atmospheric guitars, piano, and live cello add so much warmth that the song feels less like a performance and more like a memory unfolding. Take a moment and listen to it!
“We all change with the seasons, but only a few of us notice that.”
Fifth on the list is a Rock album called ‘Reavolution’ by Reaven, based in Troyes, France, and released on 01 Oct 26.
That feeling of losing yourself for someone is haunting, but the very same feeling of finding your older version back again is just surreal; ‘Reavolution’ by Reaven taps into that emotion beautifully. Across 11 tracks, heavy guitars meet huge melodic choruses, creating that satisfying feeling of wanting to turn the volume up. From ‘Free Your Mind’ to ‘Liberation’, the journey feels uplifting without losing its rock edge. If you need something loud and alive, press play!
“Turn up the volume because Reaven kills it in their latest rock album.”
If you are pumped or filled with emotions in your heart, we get you, because this roundup was a mix of energetic tunes coupled with emotionally layered tracks. So, sit back or get on the dance floor, because these melodies are worth exploring. While you enjoy the songs, we will go on a search for some more amazing artists and their releases.
