It's about time—the band from the future is back with a new single. Hailing from Perth, Australia, Frequency77 is a trio of talented artists. Started by Freese and Block in 2050 (as they call themselves the band of the future), and joined by Mink in 2051, the band creates a fictional world of music. With sounds of 90s rock, Frequency77 crafts songs that are meant to shake people’s heads.

Frequency77 turns the classic “Time” into a two-and-a-half-minute pop-punk burst of energy.

Their new release, “Time,” is a recreation of the famous prog rock outfit The Alan Parsons Project’s song. While the original track leans heavily on the atmospheric, progressive elements that defined the band, Frequency77 reimagines it with a fresh pop-punk energy that completely elevates the song. Even though the band has transformed it into a pop-punk with fast, driving guitar riffs and punchy drum beats, they have kept the emotional depth of the original song intact.
