Divinely guided sonic project emerging from Markleeberg, Germany, E.L.W.12 is a pioneering force in the futuristic hyperpop scene, and this new album is nothing but a testament to that. Creating a balance with personal and professional life, the remarkable producer and visionary refuses to be moulded into a single genre and has developed his niche sound over years of countless commercial productions. The approach he carries in his sound is not only timeless but pays homage to the brilliance of countless underground creators who pursue their calling despite their vulnerability. Developing from his friend's facility, his hybrid production style has finally broken the void of genuine vocal production with this collaborative project, which explores themes of discovering the truth lying beneath all the facades of the overstimulation we live in.

A carefully crafted dystopian depiction that blends emotional vulnerability and futuristic disco sound; this is majestic.

'Scraped Truth' isn't just a solo project, but rather a collaboration of an underlying attitude of bravery that's as raw as it gets. A thoughtful curation that's full of moments that question human morality and scraps away the superficial layers of worldly lies we tell to each other; this inspires you to think about the realms of black and white. Every track is full of dreamy, enchanting ambient sound, where each track shares a different story; this is full of vibes of a midnight romance, although 'What if We Did' is an acoustic shapeshift from this compilation that stands out for its rawness. A cohesive 16-track album, you wouldn't be able to pick a favourite here. A fusion of mood-altering beat escapes that combine delicate themes of social norms and how it's nothing but an illusion, a trap; here every track is full of mystery and can mean different associations for different people. Although I personally really admire 'Halfway To Anger' for its emotional depth and self-realisation, every track here starts like a euphoric daydream and purges into a defiant moment for your moral compass. It's quite creative how, as you progress through the album, you realise newer truths about yourself. I found this album very intriguing, and I believe so will you.
