Gothic Aesthetic has unveiled their new album, “Tales of the Dark Forest.” Led by singer-songwriter Savage in collaboration with Savannah, the duo crafts cinematic gothic rock and metal infused with symphonic ballads, dark wave, and theatrical rock. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Type O Negative, Moonspell, Powerwolf, Sisters of Mercy, and HIM, they weave together themes of dark romanticism, shady forests, cursed bridges, ghostly kings, and ritualistic choirs. As they describe it, their music “doesn’t scream to scare, but whispers to haunt.”

Gothic Aesthetic debuts with a cinematic collection of dark themes, forest imagery, and shadowy rituals.
Their new release, “Tales of the Dark Forest” is their debut album. It’s a ten-track dark fairytale that takes you on a journey of haunted forests, shadowy rituals and cinematic acts. The opening track "Witch" is a ritualistic chant with thunder and whispers, setting the mood of vengeance and rebirth. “The Raven” is an ominous and deep sounding Gothic anthem inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. When one hides pain behind the mask of power, a track like “Iron Mask” takes birth. “Blood of the Moon” is a ritualistic and sensual song that weaves ethereal vocals and distorted guitars to create an immersive experience.
“The Marionette” is a theatrical track focused on themes of illusion and identity. “Bride of Shadows” creates an unusual aura with a haunting ceremonial ballad about a cursed wedding. “The Damned King” is dark and brutal, portraying madness and the fall of a frostbitten throne. “Gothic Feast” is a horror-punk flair about skeletons and midnight revelry and “Final Bell” ends the show with choirs and bells of emotional resonance. Overall, “Tales of the Forest” is an immersive debut that captures the essence of gothic storytelling.
