SLAPPER is a long-running electronic project led by Claudiu-Gabriel Tache, and he has released yet another song titled, “Into the Light.” Started in the late 1990s, the project carries a deep nostalgia for classic electronic sounds while staying emotionally current. SLAPPER draws inspiration from legends like Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Moby, and Chicane. He is known for blending synthpop, synthwave, melodic techno, and trance into music that feels cinematic yet personal. Tache has also shared stages as an opener for iconic acts like Alphaville and De/Vision, adding quiet credibility to his journey.

"SLAPPER has a way of turning synths and rhythms into something deeply human, where nostalgia and emotion move at their own pace."
“Into the Light” feels like a natural continuation of his previous song, “Hope.” It carries the same emotional honesty forward with SLAPPER’s artistry. The track is built on evolving synths, steady rhythms, and layered atmospheres that slowly open up as the track unfolds. It starts introspective, almost inward-looking, then gently lifts into something more hopeful and expansive. The cinematic flow makes it easy to get lost in, making it a perfect song for late nights, long drives, or quiet thinking moments. There’s no rush here; the track trusts the listener to feel the shift rather than be told when it happens. It leaves you lighter than when you started, like stepping out after a long internal conversation.
