Creative maestro Andy Smythe returns to the masses with a continuation of his latest widely-proclaimed album 'Quiet Revolution' called 'Quiet Revolution Extra', and this genuinely has the power to become a revelation that shapes how we perceive sound going forward. A divinely guided singer-songwriter hailing from London, England, Andy holds multiple feathers of prowess to his name, and has also been featured on the spotlight of BBC Radio. A sound described by the Record Collector as 'colorful and classy', his sound features vibrant nuances that shape humanity and its essence. Now, without any further ado, let's dissect this EP together.

“What sounds like the First droplet of rain after an extremely hot day, this is a glorious compilation that feels heavenly divine.”
Adding to the explorative nature of the main album, this album features stripped-down and comforting tunes that feel even more passion-fuelled than the original compilation. To kickstart this soul-searching journey, we're greeted with 'Higher Truth,' an inquisitive and curious case of deep imagination and surreal violin solos. This immersive and chic number is about mankind's inevitable search to look for signs, searching for something that's way above and beyond us. Then the whimsy and moral casual take us to 'Butterfly,' a refreshing piece that's actually a metaphor to explain how some undertake extreme amounts of force, pressure, or punishment for minor, trivial goals, highlighting how it's probably not worth it. The next track, 'Monet is Smiling,' is what rejuvenation must sound like, because wow! Appreciating lyrics and classy jazz and orchestra elements that make it out of this world, this is a blessing for your ears.
'House Without Love', as the name suggests, is about how, no matter how high we reach, how much success we achieve, without the feeling of love between souls is comparable to being abandoned. Beautiful imagery and profound storytelling, and an even better execution. 'Man of Pisces' is a moment of spiritual awakening that feels like a trip down memory lane, describing the tale of the Man of Pisces and throwing light on how he followed his heart. Lastly, this short and sweet journey ends at 'Algorithm'. Exploring the slaves we've become to endless screen times and consumerism, this shows reality a mirror.
On and all, this album is a mesmerising compilation of beautifully written and sung songs that together sound like a jaw-dropping adventure movie. I fell in love. What about you?
