“Rhinoceros” by Wonderlick is a Track with Sharp Lyrics and a Haunting Human Transformation

Wonderlick is an experimental duo on a mission to wage a war of words in the world of music. Started by two collaborators, Jay Blumenfield and Tim Quirk, the project aims to discover the unthinkable feats humans can achieve with their strength, resilience and amazing abilities. On the other hand, some minds take part in sinister activities driven by their selfish and cruel nature.

The beats of “Rhinoceros” cinematically shift along the chilling transformation from man to monster. 

“Rhinoceros” is one of the songs from their album inspired by the famous play with the same title by Eugène Lonesco. The storyline of the song talks about the slow transition people go through to become rhinoceros, which serves as a symbol of fascism. The brooding rhythm of the song also evolves into a cinematic rock beat with distorted guitars and crashing cybals.
