OpCritical Music Rises with a Protest Anthem for Today’s World

They recently formed band has released their first track, “Not Alone.” Formed in 2026, OpCritical’s main aim is to spread the word through music about the tyranny of today’s world. Through their music, they aim to become the voice of many who face everyday issues but don’t have a platform to express themselves. I truly like how their whole identity is rooted in standing up for decency, tolerance, honesty, and the rule of law.

"OpCritical Music feel less like a band and more like a rallying cry set to music."
The first listen instantly reminds you of that raw protest energy from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Ohio,” but with a sharper, modern punch. Knowing Neil Young composed the original influence adds weight to the foundation of this track. Coleman Voyla’s electric guitar work carries that urgency with striking sound. The chorus of the track feels like a rally of protesters shouting back at the wrongdoings and addressing an important issue. The overall vibe of the song isn’t just angry, it’s unifying. It genuinely feels like a call to stand shoulder to shoulder.
