Released on 22nd November 2024, "Lost" by Bitty has a genre of R&B/Soul, Soultronica, Acoustic Soul. It's an album mixed with songs showcasing a journey through loss and self-discovery. The tracks explore grief, self-reflection, and the complexities of human emotion, which have been crafted over three years, containing a four-track collection that digs into the feelings of finding ourselves in the whole darkness in the process of healing. Starting with the song "Mango" following the lyrics "I only like mangoes when they’re sweet," puts in front the longing for not having complexities in love. Moving on to "Passing Place," this track focuses more on the need for personal space in life. Lines like "Even good songs must end," Bitty explains the paradoxical nature of good things. Followed by "Circadian Rhythm," this track is a depiction of cyclical love, comparing a tumultuous relationship to the body's natural rhythms. And last track of this fabulous album, "Quicksand," is a concluding track explaining the beauty of surrendering control and embracing uncertainty. Putting forward the art of leaving control and following in nature's in the same way, a leaf fallen in a river flows seamlessly with the flow of the river. The deep meanings behind the tracks and Bitty's voice makes it one of the best listens of all time.
