The very talented JAKEWITHSPACES! has released his album, “DOPEFUMEMID.” He is known for blending genres and defying traditional beat structures. With his sonic world put into the realm of music, you will feel like “surfing through a corrupted hard drive in the middle of a lucid dream.” An independent artist who writes, produces, and arranges everything solo, creates chaotic yet intentional sounds. These production influences come from artists like JPEGMAFIA, Injury Reserve, and Flying Lotus, blending experimental hip-hop, glitch, and lo-fi sound design.

A boundary-pushing debut where noise, nostalgia, and experimentation collide to create a world of beautiful disarray.
His latest album, “DOPEFUMEMID” builds together a DIY digital aesthetic, portraying it as an unfiltered, surreal, and forward-thinking collection of songs. “THE SILENCE” opens with an eerie calm before diving into jagged beats and distorted synths. “MY SOUK, THE ANTITODE” is wrapped in bass and fragmented percussion, building a disoriented rhythm that lets you groove. “DOPE FUMES,” serving as the title track, blends glitch-heavy, smoky, and hypnotic sounds with 808 distortions, building up the energy.
“$ $ $ (ft. ZekeUltra)” is a standout collaboration with clever wordplay over metallic textures and broken loops. “JAY Z” is an ironically titled, lo-fi and humorous take on the mainstream hip-hop template performed by the artist. “ON THE ASS!!!!!” energizes you with its aggressive drum patterns and chaotic synth layers. “REAP WHAT YOU SOW!” is a track about payback and receiving what you deserve. It pairs perfectly with “MONEY CALLING (couldn’t put the phone down),” which explores materialism through a distorted vocal hook. Other tracks like, “KIN,” “IYKYKYKYK,” and “MIC HISS” make “DOPEFUMEMIDI” an anti-mainstream statement celebrating chaos, imperfection, and freedom of expression.
