I.D.K.’s “Nark 5” Is Pure Hardcore Fire With No Mercy

A big foot in the scene is back with another banger. I.D.K is a band with Bergen Country roots, a hardcore backbone, and an old-school grit that is still very much alive since 1991. You can hear the experience in how controlled the chaos feels in their tracks. Anthony “Red” Paladino’s vocals carry that sharp punch, while Adrian Spoleti and Mike Nappi on guitars bring that thick, crunchy wall of riffs that instantly feels classic, Tom Conti’s bass sits heavy in the mix, and Fabio Amato’s drumming is explosive but precise.

"After more than three decades, I.D.K. still sound hungry, loud, and completely locked in."
From the very first riff, the track hits hard and doesn’t let up. I genuinely loved the hook, as it holds a repetitive value to it that will lure you to listen to it more than once. There’s raw tension in the verses that builds naturally into the chorus and the energy feels urgent, not nostalgic. I.D.K goes wild and aggressive in the track but still keeps the structure intact, something that you can expect from an experienced band. “Nark 5” is built for both sweaty club shows and for blasting in headphones.
