With “Torn” feat. Siracha, Cries of Redemption doesn’t just release a song; it opens a new chapter filled with return, recognition, and gratitude. Founded by Ed Silva, the project has always moved with its own spirit, blending modern rock force with cinematic layers and emotional storytelling. One of the biggest moments here is the return of Billy “Sriracha” Babcock after an 11-year hiatus, welcomed back with open arms by Silva, whether for one song or much longer. The campaign also celebrates a historic TJPL Class of 2026 moment, with Ed Silva becoming the first indie artist from Georgia to receive the honor and Sriracha being recognized alongside him. Chiara, featured vocalist on Impulse, and Denisse Ferrara, featured vocalist and honorary member of the project, are also honored, with Denisse marking a major breakthrough as an Argentine indie artist.

Cries of Redemption

“Cries of Redemption creates rock that carries scars, strength, and a pulse that never fades.”

The track that runs parallel to all these honors starts with instant urgency, carrying the sound of inner conflict. The drum rise and cutting guitar riffs give the track a razor-sharp edge that feels classic Cries of Redemption. Maria Duque’s vocals bring mood and intensity, balancing strength with melody in all the right places. The production sounds polished, keeping the raw rock heartbeat alive. Lyrically, the song wrestles with light, darkness, right, and wrong, and that tension drives the whole experience. I enjoyed how the song hits hard on first listen, then reveals more emotion the longer it stays with you.
