Comprising of Todd Hearon on the acoustic guitar and vocals, the legendary producer Don Dixon on the bass guitar and background vocals, Peter Holsapple on the piano, Hammond organ, Mellotron, accordion and mandolin. Rob Ladd on the drums, and percussion and Sam Wilson on the electric guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, dobro, chimes, is a work of art. Drawing major influences from The Velvet Underground and Townes Van Zandt, their sound is a pleasant revisit to the iconic alt-rock and indie-rock of the 90s. Twisted tales of experience that are bound to bring out the best of you, these deep yet melodic encounters are very wholesome.

We start with the resonating realms of 'Deadman's Cove'. A journey of pure observation, this is full of poetic encounters where one is trying to face his fears as they come, noticing they have nothing to lose. 'Looking Glass' and 'Paper Flowers' are melodies that seem to throw light on the poignant truths that suffice every human brain that exists. Discussing how loving a narcissist can be hard, this is about looking behind in time from a rear viewing glass, these are a reminder that everything is momentary and one must make the most out of what they've got.

'Guillotine' revolves around a similar theme, this spreads the word about how transparent the artist has been from the people they love. 'Too Deep to Feel the Bottom' is a notion of utmost humility and grace that patience gives you. Wondering with the dilemma of whether he'll sink or swim, this is by far one of the most beautiful tracks of the album. 'Love Song # 551' is a tale of being captivated and mesmerized by the idea of someone.

Last but not least, we arrive at the title track 'Impossible Man'. A word about realism breaks the shackles of delusion and being true to oneself. Overall, this album is full of themes and messages that will make you rethink life.
